Dr. Mark Xu

Dr. Mark Xu is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist focused on providing the best possible medical and surgical vision care to the city of Guelph and surrounding region.

Dr. Xu graduated with an Honours degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Ottawa, followed by a Doctorate in Medicine from Western University. He then completed his Ophthalmology residency at Queen’s University, where he served as Chief Resident and authored multiple recognized research studies.

Dr. Xu has a keen interest in cataract surgery, having completed thousands of successful procedures since graduation. He stays on top of the latest innovations in the ophthalmic field including advanced-technology intraocular lens implants (IOLs) and femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery. He is proud to be a member of the Clear Vision Surgical team where he strives to provide the best possible visual outcome for patients utilizing the most modern technologies available.
